This large EF-40 wound glass “marble” is a wonderful example of this style of trade bead. Produced in the 19th & 20th centuries, this bead likely dates to the 1890's. It is a double wound glass bead, having a perfect inner compliment in white cane to the colorful outer design, this highly collectible bead was a very popular trade item. The bead measures 42mm x 40mm (beads are measured perpendicular to the hole first and parallel to the hole second)
